We believe in investing in the next generation.  We have classes for all ages during Sunday School at 9:30am and there is Kid's Club during Sunday Worship at 10:30am.  Pastor Ron usually dismisses the children to go to Kid's Club shortly after the music is finished.  The kid's love it and they learn a lot!

This is an important question we all must come to grips with.  Jesus has a clear answer found in John 3:16...

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”

Belief in Jesus is essential to salvation.  Here are some things to think about:

1)  Romans 3:23.....For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  We are in the same boat on this issue of sin.

2) Romans 6:23.....For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Sin has serious consequences.  It brings death and the most serious part of the kind of death that is spoken of here is that sin separates us from a relationship with God.  And of course we are also familiar with all of the violence, chaos and pain that sin brings into our world and our relationships.  The Bible states that sin is the reason we are distant from God and it is the reason our world is in such a mess.  But, Jesus has come as a gift from God to bring life to help us with our sin and death problem.

3)  Romans 5:8.....But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.  This is really good news.  Jesus came in order to pay for our sins. Someone once said it like this:  Jesus lived the life that I should have lived and He died the death that I should have died.  Jesus' death was His love in action.  He died in our place so that all who put their trust and hope in Him could experience the forgiveness of sins and be freed from the severe penalty of sinning against God. What qualified Jesus to be able to die in your place?  As the Son of God, Jesus lived a life that was fully pleasing to God in every way, without sin.  Hard to believe someone could live their life without ever lying, lusting or sinning in anyway.  This is what Jesus did and He did for us. So He could become the spotless sacrifice dying in our place.  Jesus Christ died for you!  And this is the greatest act of love and sacrifice anyone could ever do for another.

4)  Romans 10:9-10.....that if you confess with your mouth the LORD Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  This is how we put our trust in Jesus.  We believe in our hearts that He is who He said is.  Your first move is to speak this out in prayer to God.  Your words don't have to be eloquent or long, just sincere.  Humble yourself before the God who loves you more than you can imagine.  Doing this is incredibly freeing.  In your prayer, follow the simple direction from the Scripture above.  This is the foundation of faith in a short sentence.  The promise is that if you do this from a heart filled with faith and gratitude, you will be saved.  God's supernatural life will enter into you and you will be given a brand new life.

5)  2 Corinthians 5:17.....Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.  This is the great exchange.  Your old life for a new life.  This is a supernatural transformation that is promised for all who follow Jesus.  The old is forgiven, washed clean.  A new you is reborn!

6)  Here is a royal invitation from King Jesus....."Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." (Jesus, Matthew 11:28-30)
